In 1945 Groff's Scrapyard opened in Quarryville, PA.  For years the company took in scrap metals of all kinds.  Through the early years usable metal pieces were salvaged and resold to the farming and business community and the rest sent off to be recycled.

     In 1975 James Groff & Son, Inc. was born.  The large shop was built, and the sales of new steel were expanded to supply the needs of steel to the area.  In 2006 it was recognized that there was a lack of a local place to buy truck caps and vehicle accessories.  The vehicle accessory division was born to add on to our other services.

     As times changed the original flagship of the company, the scrap yard was shut down in 2018.  Today the company is adapting to meet the needs of our customers.  We offer small and large quantity metal sales as well as light fabrication service and equipment repairs.  Accessorizing vehicles for one off to large fleets are a big part of our company and we have developed many relationships with individuals and companies over the years doing so.
